My professional background is in structuring and leading technical teams that build and deploy robotic systems under real operational constraints, in defense industry, consumer robotics, and critical infrastructure.

In these applications, state-of-the-art techniques must be brought into reality with reliability, requiring a strong rigor in the work, as well as a natural curiosity for software engineering, hardware integration, and mass production.

However, after these years, I have learned that rigor and empathy are not in tension. The environments I have worked in demand precision, but the people building the systems need clarity, trust, confidence, and room to think.

In the end, the main interest of such work is watching a deployed system gain real autonomy, especially when you can see it in the hands of someone whose life it makes genuinely easier and safer. That is what I build toward, and what the articles here tend to come back to.
